MPR Designs incorporates all the small details that personalize your Logo. Our collaboration with Jordan, who recently acquired a pink boat, presented an exciting opportunity to craft a boat logo that would capture the essence of fun and personality while afloat.
The Design Voyage:
Before our creative live session, Jordan shared elements from the boat manufacturer that she admired and wished to see in the final boat logo. Her primary request was that the logo should predominantly feature the color pink but remain recognizable in black and white. The initial exploration took us down a path with a head-on orientation, as per Jordan’s hand-drawn concept. She also wanted to incorporate her favorite animal, the flamingo, into the design. This iconic bird became the central element, weaving together the name of the boat, “Flemin-Go,” cleverly combining Jordan’s last name and her beloved animal.
Mapping the Design:
Upon receiving the first draft, Jordan expressed a preference for the boat to be depicted from the side rather than a straight-on view. She also highlighted her fondness for a script font with the flamingo ingeniously forming the “O” in the boat’s name. We created multiple boat drafts from a side orientation and arranged for a Creative Live Session to finalize the design.
Live Creative Session for Logo Design
Our Live Zoom Meeting was a crucial step in the design journey. During this interactive session, we explored different fonts to ensure the chosen script resonated with the desired “Tommy Bahama” feel. This choice perfectly aligned with Jordan’s vision. We had also crafted two boat outlines in the side orientation, which Jordan and Eric reviewed and refined during the meeting. With their approval and satisfaction, the design was finalized, marking the end of the creative live session.
Delivering the Final Design:
To complete their Logo Design package for the boat logo, we provided a folder containing two logo versions in various colors, all formatted for web and print in PNG, PDF, SVG, and JPEG. The final logo was delivered within a week following our live design session.
